Short Bio
Performance artist and curator. He began his studies on performance art in 1999 and since then has established himself as one of the main exponents of this art in the south of Brazil. He presented his work in spaces such as Grace Exhibition Space (New York, 2012), Defibrillator Performance Art Gallery (Chicago, 2012) and Mobius (Boston, 2012). Highlights events he participated: MIP – Manifestação Internacional de Performance (Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 2003); O Corpo na Cidade (Curitiba, Brazil, 2010); Miami Performance International Festival (Miami, USA, 2013); Performance no Memorial (Belo Horizonte, Brazil, 2014), TERRA COMUNAL – Marina Abramovic + MAI (São Paulo, 2015), Poéticas do Corpo (Campinas, Brazil, 2016); Corpus Urbis (Amapá, Brazil, 2017) e Cada Vez Mais Perto (Curitiba, Brazil, 2018).
Since 2012 is curator of p.ARTE. It was curator on International Biennial of Curitiba (2013, 2015 e 2017 editions), the 3rd edition of CCBB música.performance (São Paulo, 2015) and curated the festival MIP3 (Belo Horizonte, 2016). Fernando lives and works in Curitiba, Brazil.
